Management Settings for Log In/Out

There are three settings that force the system to automatically log out the user. These settings can be accessed from the Settings module in the Register's fly-out menu. Tap the hamburger icon in the top-left corner of the Register screen and then tap Settings. On the Register tab, the settings are as follows:

  1. Auto log out user after each transaction: Automatically logs out the user after each completed payment.
  2. Auto log out user after Send/Save order: Automatically logs out the user after sending the order to the kitchen or saving the order.
  3. Auto log out user idle time: Specify the amount of time (30 seconds, 1 min, 5 min, or 10 min) before the system automatically logs out the user.

Note that all three settings are disabled by default, so if you want to implement them you must enable them from the Settings module. If no setting is enabled, the user can manually log out by tapping the Log Out User from the fly-out navigation menu.

Logging In

To log into an open register, type your PIN number, and then tap the Log In button. Note that if no drawer is open, the system will display the Open Drawer button instead of the Log In button. Simply put, you must have an open drawer in order to log into the system.

Manually Logging Out

If you are logged into the system and want to manually log out, tap the hamburger menu icon in the top-left corner of the Register screen and then tap the Log Out User button.
