After clicking on Reports, you are taken to the Reports main page, which includes three categorical menu items located in the sidebar navigation menu, namely Sales, Auditing, and Management. In this article, we'll cover the sales reports category.

Sales Reports

Filtering by Date Range

For each sales report, you can filter the results simply by changing the date range. To change the date range:

  1. Click on the dates located above the chart.
  2. Select from the preconfigured ranges on the left, such as Today, Yesterday, Last 7 Days, Last 30 Days, This Month, Last Month. Alternatively, you can select a specific date range by clicking on Custom Range and selecting the start date and then selecting the end date. Note that you can use the drop-down menus to select the month and year, or move between months by clicking the back and forward arrows.
  3. Once the dates have been selected, click Apply.

Download PDF Feature

For each report, you can download a PDF version of the report simply by clicking the Download button located in the top-right corner of the screen. The PDF document will automatically be downloaded upon clicking the button.

Sales Reports

Daily Summary

By default, the main page displays the Daily Summary for the Sales Reports (first item in the sidebar navigation menu). This includes a daily summary sales chart alongside two tables with additional sales figures relative to the default date range. The first table displays the following information (based on the default or selected date range):

  • Gross Sales
  • Discounts
  • Refunds
  • Net Sales
  • Taxes
  • Tips
  • Total Amount Collected

The second table displays the type of cash inflows and outflow and includes the following (based on the default or selected date range):

  • Total Amount Collected
  • Credit
  • Store Credit
  • Cash
  • Tips Paid
  • Paid Outs
  • Total Drop

Drawer Sales

To view the sales reports by drawer, click on Drawer Sales from the sidebar navigation menu. This will display the ID, Name, Date Opened & Closed, and Employee assigned to the drawer, along with the Total Net Sales, Tips, and Paid Outs for the drawer.

Employee Sales

The Employee Sales submenu provides you a breakdown of the total amount collected, tip amount, average sale amount, and the number of orders processed by each individual employee.

Category Sales

To view the total number of items and the gross sales amount by product category, click on the Category Sales submenu item.

Item Sales

Similar to product categories, you can drill down to view the total amount sold and the gross sales amount for each individual item by clicking on the Item Sales submenu item.
